“The Bioinformatics Certificate provided me with the fundamental tools used in biomedical research and gave me an insight into how scientists make sense of biological data and develop new cancer biomarkers. Scientists use such an analytical method to develop personalized vaccines, identify molecular mechanisms of tumor behavior, and create check-point inhibitor drugs.”
